![]() The fact that slug shotguns out dps most heavys against raid bosses is a clear indicator that they dont think things throughly enough. The real solution is for them to think about how mechanics in the game work when putting in new gear with new rolls or roll combos. ![]() Sunsetting is bungies lazy solution to fixing the balance of the game they dont play test. Since beyond light ive ran dozens of lfgs on d2 pc and when ever the topic of sunsetting came up “just remove the items” was never the solution people suggested this is the first ive heard of it no one wants sunsetting. However, Mass Effect will change that for many of us. ![]() Good for Bungie but not for Veteran players. Now its a streaming service with a profit margin. i wish for the cool gear but because I am a professional in my career, rarely have time for these things. ![]() I rarely Raid any more… I am too much of a burden for those high power go for it get it done folks. I guess that is the money making end of it… but there are plenty of us that play it for the thrill of being a Guardian. Out right removing serves a game where no one is ever satisfied. I have yet to find a rocket launcher that works as well as Sins of the Past. I thought Destiny was supposed to be big enough for all of us and not just Raids and growing into infinite. I like having guns that I can rely on to complete missions. You are wrong on this and don’t speak for those of us that play the game in a different way. Let us know what you think in the comments. This is Bungie’s chance to begin a process that shifts them out each year. We all complain about the useless or overpowered weapons and Exotics. I think that it’s time that they were harsher and pulled back as much content as they wanted each year to make space for better stuff in our inventories. It’s a necessary evil, and it’s not forever, Bungie has already shown us what they can do by Vaulting content and reworking it. Sure, there will be those who complain about weapons being removed, but there were Guardians who complained about planets and moons being removed. It would be so much easier if Guardians just got new content from the start of a year until its end. This would give them the chance to take out weapons they want to rework, or ones that no one is using, and make space for new content that will be added over the next year.īungie plans out all of their seasons in advance, so they must have a specific number of weapons and gear that they’ll add in with each. I quite like the idea of Bungie removing a wide range of weapons and gear with every yearly expansion. It will make life so much easier for all Guardians if this was the case. I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen a lot of Guardians out there telling Bungie to outright remove these items instead of putting these Infusion Caps on them. At that point, they can feel safe in adding more new items in, because they can safely remove all the stuff that Guardians aren’t using. This, Bungie believes, will slowly see the items fall out of use. When the Infusion Cap is hit, Guardians will stop using that gear. Infusion Caps were introduced into Destiny 2 because some weapons and pieces of gear need to be removed as Bungie add new ones in. It’s become an issue that sees my Vault and inventory clogged with gear and weapons that I’m not sure what to do with, and it’s driving me mad. This is the maximum Power Level at which you can infuse a weapon or piece of gear to. Destiny 2 has an annoying feature that I think most Guardians could do without.
